Loan description
The Black Country Enterprise Loan Fund is a trust established in 1987. The aim of the Trust is to develop and create prosperity in the Black Country and surrounding areas through the provision of loans to people financing small business start-up or business development projects
The Fund provides several sources of finance:
- Start Fund - For new businesses, loans of up to £10,000 with repayment periods of up to 3 years
- Business development Fund - For businesses at least 12 months old with growth potential up to £10,000 per business with repayment period up to 3 years.

Key Criteria
Business must be based in the Black Country or neighbouring wards
Loan applications are considered by a panel of trustees with a wealth of business experience and ethical business dealings, and their duty of care to clients (existing and prospective) is of paramount importance
